Boiler making a banging noise
Hi, the boiler has started making a loud banging noise when the heating comes on, and the radiators upstairs are barely warm. Is this something you could look at this week? I'm in most days after 2pm. Thanks, Janet

Hi Janet, Thanks for letting me know. Banging on start-up with cold upstairs radiators usually points to trapped air or a bit of sludge in the system, so it's worth looking at sooner rather than later. I can come out Thursday afternoon, any time after 2pm. It's £65 for the call-out and the first hour, and I'll tell you the cost of anything else before I do it. Does Thursday suit?
