Nervous cockapoo — first groom
Hi, we've a cockapoo who's never been groomed and he's quite nervous with strangers. He's starting to matt behind the ears. Is that something you can handle, and roughly what would it cost?

Hi Megan, Of course — nervous first-timers are most of what we see, and matting behind the ears is very common on a coat that has never been done. I'd book him a longer first session so there's no rush on him: we go at his pace, and if he's had enough we stop and finish another day at no extra cost to you. A full groom for a cockapoo is £48.
